November 18, 2008

Well it has been a few days since we last "blogged" therefor I figured that I should take a few minutes and let you know what is happining around the Winecoff place. We are all getting over some kinda "crud" I think that it started with Bubba and then went to Amy and then around the whole house. We have 2 young ladies who live with us right now, the first is Amy's best friend, Ashley who has been "hanging around" off and on for a few months. The other is our neice, Kayla who is here going to school at Greenville Tech. They are both good kids and offer a lot of help to us and with the kids due to our crazy schedules.
Well, tonight was a little different to say the least. Ashley takes gymnastics at Greenville Gymnastics and tonight she wanted the kids to go and wanted for Mama and me to go as well. Well, I finally said that I would go but the only thing that I would do was stand behind the camera, take pictures and laugh. That's what I did at Amy & Ashley! Now, the kids had a ball! Kierstyn didn't want to stop and Zach didn't have a clue what he was doing but he gave it all he had and then some. We had a great time. I figured that by the time we got home that the kids would be exausted and would kill over...Ashley and Amy killed over and the kids were wide open for at least another 2 hours...as a matter of fact my little night owl is still up. I don't mean just awake, I mean up, feet still on the floor...she usually sleeps about 4-5 hours a night and shes ready to go for another 18 to 20 hours. We just set boundries and tell her not to come out of her room and she can stay up and play or read...but no TV or DVD.

Have I bored you enough yet? My 5 minutes are up anyway. I hope you enjoy the site and the pictures. We enjoy doing it!
By the way...I almost forgot to tell you...this Friday night, along with our dear friend, Stan Wilson, I will be doing a benefit concert at The Home With A Heart in Liberty, SC. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM and for those in the area, we would love to see you there!

Quote Of The Day "Don't Quit! Don't Quit! Don't Quit!...'til the stars fall from Heaven, Don't Quit!" Dr. Jack Hyles

God's Word Of The Day Those who love your teachings will find true peace, and nothing will defeat them. Psalm 119:165

Funny Of The Day This is what marriage is really all about…
An elderly man ordered one hamburger, one order of French fries and one drink. The old man unwrapped the plain hamburger, carefully cut it in half, placed one half in front of his wife and the other in front of himself. He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife and again one pile in front of himself. He took a sip of the drink; his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them kept looking over and whispering. You could tell they were thinking, “That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.”As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table. He politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said they were just fine - They were used to sharing everything. The surrounding people noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.Again the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said 'No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.'As the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it you're waiting for?'

She answered . . . “THE TEETH!”
